EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES
Our chapters around Europe (Cf. Local representations map) participate in academic, athletic and cultural projects geared towards educating children and the general public in sustainable development and protection of the coastline. According to the volunteer capabilities of each chapter, we offer educational initiatives on location and in the classroom. Through our educational tools, we cover diverse themes including waste, coastal discovery and water pollution.
Our chapters are run exclusively by voluntary positions, therefore we cannot guarantee their availability.
If you are interested in a Surfrider Foundation Europe educational initiative, contact your nearest chapter. The initiatives cost about 70€ and your contribution will help develop the actions of the chapter and cover the costs of the initiative (travelling, documents, meals…).
