The water cycle
97% of Earth's water is saltwater. Freshwater comprises the remaining 3%, however 2% is in the form of ice (in glaciers, polar icecaps). Only 1% of Earth's water is freshwater in liquid form; it's precious so take care of it!

Pollution of the oceans

Global warming

These industries, as well as transport industries (road, maritime and air), emit CO2 (carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere, creating the greenhouse effect. CO2 is emitted from the combustion of fossil feuls like gas, coal and petrole.
