As the new directive on bathing waters is about to be implemented, the regional authorities of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (France) is organising meetings at a European scale on June 23rd and 24th in Hendaye, in partnership with the Agence de l'Eau Adour Garonne and Surfrider Foundation Europe.

These two days on “Bathing Waters Quality in Coastal Areas” will aim at answering questions about the implementation of the new rule, beach management tools, and public information and communication. Technical and scientific presentations will allow to share experiences and offer a synthetic vision of issues at stake.
