Surfrider Foundation Europe's travelling exhibitions have been created in order to generate awareness and to appeal to all members of the public.
“Waves and Coastline” was created in 2004 by the Surfrider team in collaboration with many experts to guarantee an educational content of high quality. The objective is to motivate the public to change behaviour to protect the unique natural wonders that are the oceans and coastlines.
The exhibition “From the Mountains to the Ocean” comes from “Waves and Coastlines” in 2006. Despite a more restrained theme, the exhibition generates public awareness about the importance of sustainable living.

Waves and Coastline
This mobile and interactive exhibition welcomes groups and the general public in a space of 200 m². Thanks to a number of interactive multimedia zones "Waves and Coastlines" presents different aspects of coastal life, surfing and the environment. The exhibition also demands a deep reflexion on our behaviour and its impact on the environment.

From the mountains to the ocean
An exposition on the water cycle and the protection of the oceans and coastlines. This exposition accompanies the educational film, "From the Mountains to the Ocean," which follows the journey of a drop of water. Directed at the greater public, the 6 supporting visuals of the exposition are 60m2. In a playful manner, the film recounts the water cycle as well as the pollutions which intervene in the process.
