The building of a car park threatens a beach and could lead to a coastal artificialization.

We’ve been alerted by the local environmental association “Etang Nouveau”.
On the 21st of august 2008, the court which has suspended the state approved a declaration allowing those works. Today the court refuses to order the municipality to stop the Ferriere cove fill in. Moreover, the three associations were condemned to pay a 1000 Euros -bill to the municipality of Martigues. Since the 31st of august 2008, three demonstrations have been organised.
