TRASH INVASION : Don'T LET THE WASTE INVADE OUR WORLD

While many europeans citizens still believe that marine litter is only a problem concerning citizens living to the coast, the reality is quite different.

Every second, 412 kilos of litters are dumped into the oceans, and 80 % comes from inland. Only 20% is directly dumped on shores and in the sea.

But how to raise awareness about this plague ?

By targuetting european citizens directly on Instagram, where they love to publish scenic pictures of beaches, forgetting the trash invasion.

@sweptupstraw, @verybagnews, @see_glass, is litter we find in cities or on the coast. They have, during these last few weeks, invaded the popular social network, Instagram

BE PART OF THE SOLUTION AND SAY NO TO MARINE POLLUTION

Over the past 25 years the association has gained reputable expertise in this field, evolved from data collection of the pollution epidemic to an in-depth understanding and analysis of the issue.

The Ocean Initiatives, beyond the simple act of cleaning, are an opportunity to remind that the issue cannot be resolved on its own and that we have to act.

Don't let the waste invade our world participating in Ocean Initiatives from 22th to 25th of March.
